一、課程簡介:動物行為學之主要內容在於探討動物行為如何受到近程因子，包括遺傳、生理、發育、學習等，與遠程因子，如生態條件、演化適應等之交互作用所影響，而在個體、群體、物種間有不同的表現。本課藉由講述動物行為研究人員如何結合分子生物學、遺傳學生理學、比較心理學、行為生態學、演化生物學等學科的研究模式，以進行各類行為研究的案例，討論動物行為表現之內在機制與外在致因等相關理論；並要求學生自選一研究主題，實際進行行為觀察、記錄與分析之練習，以瞭解動物行為觀察、實驗設計、取樣與資料分析之實況。課程大綱如下：
